I am excited to be sharing these 8 days/7 nights and the multitude of experiences and gifts that await us.

You are invited to take part in as much or as little as you choose to manifest this precious time into what fits and nourishes your best experience. Along with yoga, Reiki, meditation & journaling this retreat brings unique opportunities for seeing and experiencing Maui from a cultural, spiritual and historic landscape as well.

We are staying at the magical Sacred Garden Retreat and Gingerbread Houses in Makawao on the island of Maui.

Our retreat on Maui BEGINS Thursday March 26th with check-in from 2-3pm. There will be some refreshments for you as you arrive and settle into your rooms. After which we will gather for an opening circle and welcoming presentation in the greenhouse with Eve Hogan, followed by dinner and a nourishing Reiki meditation.

You will receive more information, a detailed schedule and lots of guidance between now and when you land on this magical island.

You will want to arrange your travel to arrive at the Sacred Garden in time for the start of the retreat. Registration between 2-3pm.

~ It takes about 15-20 minutes to drive from the airport to The Sacred Garden. Directions and address to follow in emails along with other information.

You might want to arrive on the island a day or more before to secure that any flight snags do not interrupt your precious time at the retreat.
Transportation to/from the airport is NOT included in your rates. Renting a car is recommended. Sharing it with other attendees ~ especially if on the same flight, makes this an easy, fun and less expensive option. I am happy to connect you to each other.

Some past retreat participants have also shared an Airbnb/hotel before the retreat and had a fabulous time getting started with exploring and adventuring before coming to retreat. It’s a wonderful way to really land, take in the sunset and beauty and release the travel buz. It is also a perfect time to go on a whale watch or snorkel trip.

*** Strongly encouraged to purchase Travel Insurance. Attendees are responsible to the monies paid on their behalf to reserve accommodations, meals, program and the other cost to this retreat. Which is the retreat cost you agreed to. If something were to happen (it has in the past, a broken ankel 2-days before retreat) the insurance would cover your commitment. Do be sure you understand insurance policy you choose.

I am participating in activities, classes, workshops, retreats and/or other wellness programs and activities (collectively, the “Activities”) offered by Peace of Mind Reiki and/or its directors, teachers, workshop presenters, employees and independent contractors and venues hosting programs (collectively, “Others”).

2. By participating in these activities, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the Activities, including those which may result from the negligence.

3. I recognize that the Activities may require physical and mental participation and that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician or other professional prior to and regarding participation in the Activities and is my responsibility to take the advice offered by them.

4. I understand my physical limitations and I am sufficiently self-aware to stop or modify my participation in any activity before I become injured or aggravate a pre-existing situation/injury. I understand that Peace of Mind Reiki, and Others, reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refuse participation in an Activity.

5. I understand the information provided through these Activities/workshops/trainings is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment that can be provided by a physician, therapist, counselor, mental health practitioner, licensed dietitian or nutritionist, religious advisor, or any other licensed or registered health care professional.

6. I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any “Claim” (as defined below) I may have against Peace of Mind Reiki or Others, that I may sustain as a result of participating in the Activities even if the Claim arises from the negligence of Peace of Mind Reiki or Others. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peace of Mind Reiki or Others associated with the Activities from any loss, cost, or liability incurred in defending any Claim made by me or anyone making a Claim on my behalf, even if the Claim is alleged to or did result from negligence. “Claim” includes but is not limited to any and all liabilities, claims, demands, expenses, fees, legal actions, rights of actions for damages, personal injury, mental suffering and distress, or death that I may suffer, my spouse, children or unborn child may suffer (including any legal fees or expenses) in connection with participation in any Activity.

7. I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Peace of Mind Reiki or Others for any Claim caused by any negligence or other acts. I acknowledge that I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily and knowingly agree to the terms and conditions stated herein.

* Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS: All cancellations must be submitted in writing (e-mail) and by phone call to Peace of Mind Reiki & Massage (603-520-5118) per/person. Cancellation refunds are based on the date the cancellation notice reaches retreat leader. If, for any reason, you need to cancel your reservation in the retreat, the following policy will be followed: More than 120 days (4 months) prior to retreat start date, registration payment minus initial deposit will be returned to registrant. Inside 120-90 days (4-3 months) prior to retreat start date 50% of registration, minus initial deposit, will be issued to the registrant. Cancellations made less than 90 days (3 months) prior to retreat start date will result in no refund to the registrant. You are urged to find someone to fill your space, in which case financial exchange will happen between said registrant and the replacement guest. Peace of Mind will assist registrants efforts to fill the spot, and it is ultimately registrants responsibility to fill it with a replacement guest or compensate the retreat costs.

Fees, reservations, deposits, and payments will have been made by Peace of Mind Reiki to the services, venues and individuals on behalf of the registrant. These commitments do not have refunds available to the leader prior to scheduled event.

**Non-refundable deposit is also NON-TRANSFERABLE to another registrant. The replacement guest will need to submit a deposit amount of $1,000. Service charges by PayPal or Venmo apply. No service charge when paying by check or cash.

In the event that a refund is required from your retreat leader, participant will be refunded (minus non-refundable deposit) within 30 days of cancellation. Cancellation on day of departure or during the retreat will result in no refund. No refund for unused portions of retreat, including, but not limited to, missed meals, hotel nights, and activities.

Cancellation of program by retreat host or venue would result in full refund of retreat fees, but do not cover flights to/from said destination. Please purchase trip insurance. Cancellation of program due to acts of war, weather, or any other “Act of God” will result in no refund to registrants.

NOTE: Leslie Jose nor any company or person associated accepts liability for any airline or other travel cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of an airline or travel ticket to the destination or return to your home.
